Privacy Policy

Squid (“Squid”, “we”, “us”) provides financial infrastructure for AI agents. This policy explains what information we collect on our website and waitlist, how we use it, and how you can contact us.

1. Who we are

Squid operates the website at https://squidbank.xyz (including www). We are building a private-beta product for agent wallets, cards, and programmable payments. We are not a licensed bank or deposit-taking institution unless separately stated on the site.

2. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist or contact us, we may collect:

Name
Email address
Company or project name
Role or description you select
Message content if you email us

We may also receive standard technical data from your browser or hosting provider (for example IP address, user agent, and request timestamps) used for security, performance, and abuse prevention.

3. How we use information

To manage the waitlist and invite people to private beta
To send product updates related to Squid (you can ask us to stop)
To respond to support or partnership messages
To protect the service against spam, fraud, and abuse
To understand basic traffic patterns and improve the site

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Where data is stored

Waitlist submissions may be stored using our hosting and storage providers (including Vercel and related infrastructure). Access is limited to people working on Squid who need it to operate the product.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-friendly Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and general traffic patterns. It collects anonymized usage data and does not use cookies. We do not use the waitlist form to collect passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or full payment card numbers.

6. Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run Squid (hosting, storage, email), or if required by law. Providers process data on our behalf and should not use it for their own marketing.

7. Retention

We keep waitlist and contact information for as long as needed to run the beta program, communicate with you, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion as described below.

8. Your choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of waitlist data by emailing hello@squidbank.xyz. We may need to verify that the request comes from the email on file.

9. Security

We use HTTPS and standard cloud security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Please do not send secrets, seed phrases, or private keys to us through the website forms.

10. Children

Squid is aimed at adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the product grows. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
