Terms of Use

Last updated: July 26, 2026 · Applies to squidbank.xyz and related Squid product pages.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to the Squid website and waitlist. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Squid is

Squid is building financial infrastructure for the agent economy: tools so software agents can pay, receive, and operate under user-defined controls. The public website currently describes the product and collects waitlist interest for a private beta.

Important: Squid is not, by default, a bank, credit union, or licensed deposit-taking institution. Branding that uses the word “bank” refers to product positioning for agent financial infrastructure unless we explicitly state a regulated offering and jurisdiction.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. If you join the waitlist on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. No financial advice; no guarantee of funds

Nothing on this website is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Do not treat marketing copy as a commitment that funds are held, insured, or available. Any real money movement features will be subject to separate product terms, eligibility checks, and applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

The Squid name, logo, site design, and content are owned by Squid or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission, except for reasonable personal or internal evaluation use of publicly available materials.

7. Third-party links and tools

The site may mention third-party products (for example agent frameworks or APIs). Those products are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The website and waitlist are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Squid and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or waitlist. Our total liability for claims relating to the website shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

10. Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
